Potato Bread soft & fluffy

It’s very easy and delicious! Breakfast recipe ! Healthy and cheap food. Potato Rolls are light, fluffy, tender, and loaded with cheese!

Potato Bread
  • In a medium bowl, combine yeast, vegetable oil warm milk and egg and stir until combined. 
  • Cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm place until doubled in size with large bubbles on the surface, 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prick the potato and thinly pare off the potato skin using a potato peeler and grate the potato
  • Grate cheese on a fine grater
  • Finely chop the dill, you can use any fresh herbs
  • Pour the grated potato, cheese and dill into the dough.
  • Mix until combined
  • Add all-purpose flour and salt and mix until smooth
  • Cover with cling film and leave in a warm draught-free place for 30–40 minutes.
  • Grease the baking dish with butter cover with cling film and leave in a warm draught-free place for 15 minutes
  • Wet your hands with water and shape the dough put sliced cheese between them
  • Add vegetable oil 1 tbsp to the egg and using for top on dough
  • Add sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Bake 360°F, 180°C 30-35 min

Potato Rolls are light, fluffy, tender, and loaded with cheese! You can also use active dry yeast in this recipe. Instant yeast and active dry yeast are interchangeable at a 1:1 ratio, active dry yeast just needs to be proofed with liquid before continuing with the recipe and may take longer to rise.

  • Grated potatoes 3-4 pcs
  • Grated cheese 1½ cups (3,5oz/150g)
  • Chopped parsley 1 bunch
  • All-purpose flour 6 cups (30oz/850g)
  • Salt 1½ tsp
  • Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
  • Egg 1 pcs
  • Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
